Two riders with their OVELOX recumbent trikes resting along a tree-lined path

Fresh air, open roads, and your best friend beside you.

An electric recumbent trike built for seniors and pet families — stable, effortless, and made for the rides that matter most.

Core Philosophy

Radically Simple. Uncompromisingly Safe.

We hide the complexity inside the engineering, so all you experience is ease and confidence. From the very first ride, OVELOX is designed for zero learning curve and zero worry.

Effortlessly Simple

  • Zero learning curve — no adjustment period. Your first ride feels like a chair you've sat in for decades.
  • Foolproof, subtraction-first design — no confusing buttons, no fiddly steps. Less is more.
  • Intuitive one-touch start — press and go. No manual required; your body knows before your brain does.

"We keep the complexity. You keep the simplicity."

Instinctive Safety

  • Built-in confidence — three wheels always planted, never tips at rest. Your body simply forgets the fear of falling.
  • Feet always reach the ground — 19-inch (48 cm) seat height means you stop and stand instantly, with no balancing act.
  • Low-center, no-tip frame — physics is on your side. Tip-over risk is engineered out from the ground up.
  • Smooth, anti-surge power — torque sensing adds a gentle tailwind to every pedal stroke. Never a jolt, never a scare.

Rock-solid stability is the baseline of every journey.

Wellness, Effortlessly

  • Invisible health support — none of the clinical feel of medical equipment. Just a natural part of stepping outside each day.
  • Natural seated posture — the recumbent design spreads pressure across your back. The longer you ride, the better your back feels.
  • Walking-pace gentle exercise — pedal assist keeps your heart rate in the sweet spot. Never out of breath, always just right.
  • Effortless lower-body strength — each pedal stroke gently engages your legs, maintaining joint mobility and muscle tone without strain.

Health isn't a task — it's something that simply blends into daily life.

Low Center · Never Tips

The three-wheel frame and 19-inch (48 cm) seat height eliminate the need for a kickstand at rest, and balance skill on the road. It removes the root cause of falls as balance changes with age.

Ergonomic Recumbent Seat

Recline angle is adjustable from 32° to 53° — more than 30% taller than a typical recumbent. Knees pivot easily on entry and exit, and pressure on your spine and hips drops noticeably.

Pet-Ready · Steady Towing

A reinforced 6061-aluminum frame and dedicated pet-trailer hitch keep the ride smooth and predictable, even towing a 35–45 lb (15–20 kg) dog through turns and acceleration.

"Along a shaded trail, no strain on your legs,
your best friend right beside you.
In that moment, breathing freely is everything."

We Hear Your Concerns

These are the safety questions seniors and pet parents ask most often — answered honestly by our engineering team.

Is a recumbent hard for older adults to balance on?

This is exactly where a recumbent trike shines: no balance required, whether stopped or moving. As balance naturally changes with age, two-wheel bikes become harder to use safely. OVELOX's low-center three-wheel frame stays planted on the ground at all times — the fear of falling simply disappears.

Won't the electric assist surge and feel dangerous?

No. We use an electronic torque sensor that reads your pedaling force in real time and adds power smoothly and linearly — like a gentle push from behind. There is no jolt, no surprise. It's especially friendly for older riders.

With a pet trailer carrying a 35–45 lb dog, will it tip on hills or in turns? Can the motor handle it?

Yes, absolutely. The 6061-aluminum frame is reinforced at the trailer hitch and the load balance is dialed in through testing. The 500W rear-hub motor delivers more than 50 N·m of torque, plenty for loaded climbs. Combined with the linear torque-sensor output, both you and your dog get a smooth, predictable ride.

Does the seat height and recline really help riders with sore knees?

Very much so. The seat sits at 19 inches (48 cm) — more than 30% taller than a typical recumbent and roughly the height of a kitchen chair — so older riders with knee issues can sit and stand with ease. The 32°–53° adjustable recline shifts your upper-body weight onto the seat back, dramatically reducing pressure on the spine and hips. That kind of joint protection is something a conventional bike cannot offer.

How far does the battery go, and is charging complicated?

With the 48V 19Ah Samsung 21700 battery and 500W motor: about 35–45 mi (55–70 km) in throttle-only mode, and 55–60 mi (90–100 km) with pedal assist. With a heavily loaded trailer, expect around 25–35 mi (40–55 km) on throttle. Charging is simple — any standard household outlet works, and the battery is UL 2271 certified for safety and reliability.
